Larochette Ruins, Luxembourg Gothic
The Lords of Larochette built this Luxembourg castle around the 12th century. By the end of the 14th century the castle housed 5 grand families, including the Homburgs and Crehanges, in stately Gothic manor houses in the grounds. The castle burned down along with the town in the 16th century and was never rebuilt.
Restorations have, however, begun – particularly with the Gothic Crehange Manor, originally built around 1385.
